Is there such a thing as pure Resveratrol?
Pure Resveratrol?
Resveratrol is one of the great successful substances of modern times. Many major figures in the media as well as the scientific community have been hailing it as the latest medical breakthrough, with some even calling it the substance that can prolong human life indefinitely.
All these claims aside, when you actually come to buy some of the stuff, you are faced with all manner of possibilities. There are a high number of companies and individuals out there online and in the real world that offer a wide variety of Resveratrol products. Which to buy? And why?
Well, there is some weight to the argument that states that pure Resveratrol should be bought, rather than any substance that has been altered or modified to suit the needs of the company that makes it. However, there has been some debate in the medical community recently as to whether or not pure Resveratrol actually exists. And even if it does, many people do not feel that it actually makes a difference whether or not you take the purer stuff or not.
First of all, you need to understand that there is Trans Resveratrol and CIS Resveratrol. There is apparently some great difference between the two of them, but this is arguable. However, it is worthwhile knowing what these supposed differences are.
One element does nothing for you apparently, namely CIS Resveratrol. Trans Resveratrol is apparently the portion of the compound that does it all for you. This is the part that reduces blood pressure, prolongs life, and provides all of those antioxidants that make all the difference where your health is involved. In fact, if you were to take any of the common human health problems and ailments, Trans Resveratrol could probably do something about it for you. It is a highly versatile element, and is the reason why the compound as a whole works.
The argument is that only the purer bottles or packets of Resveratrol will talk about the amount of Trans Resveratrol that is contained inside. Basically, if any substance states that it is ‘90% pure’, then you are going to find that the substance contained within has more of the Trans stuff contained than the CIS stuff. It is therefore more pure, and better for you.
So if you believe all of the arguments about pure Resveratrol, then it is worth your while paying attention to the claims that are made on the container. The purer the substance, the more chance there is of it containing more of the Trans Resveratrol.
