Resveratrol Dosage?
Resveratrol – what Dosage?
Imagine being able to live forever. Okay, this may not yet be a reality, but there is a product out there that claims to be able to offer you the choice when it comes to how long you get to live. Resveratrol has become one of the biggest success stories in the medical world, and this is all down to the fact that scientists and doctors alike are claiming it can prevent many of the symptoms of ageing that every human being goes through.
The substance itself has been around for a number of years. It is found ion red wine for example. It is only in recent times that it has been placed into tablet form. This is because scientists have observed and noted the effects the substance has had in medical trials on rats, for example.
Rats have been proven to be healthier, to live longer, and generally benefit in a very positive way from the intake of Resveratrol. The rats have benefitted and the side effects that were experienced during these trials were shown to be non dangerous, at least in the long term. It is for this reason that the substance has had such success.
The substance is now widely available on the internet. Even though the substance has been proven to have excellent benefits when it comes to human health, there is still a little debate going on at the moment as to how much to take. The dosage that humans should take when it comes to Resveratrol is under some dispute.
Anywhere around 20 to 50mg a day is seen as pretty much a good and safe amount to take when it comes to dosage for Resveratrol. This means that much of the substances and products that are available on the Internet are sold in 20mg doses.
However, there is a little trick that the public and the market have created. Some companies are actively marketing the use of two 15mg doses in a day. The reason for this is all about the length of the effects of the dose. Some say that having these two separate doses prolongs the effects of the substance, in effect delaying the effects to the degree that they work for longer, and therefore have a much better impact in the long term.
Whatever dose you take, ask for some medical advice first from your doctor. He or she should be able to tell you if you are taking the right amounts, and which dosage is safe for you.
